Stay connected when the grid isn't.
NE Preppers is a community for New England and Northeast preppers building a local, off-grid mesh network with MeshCore. No cell towers, no internet, just neighbors talking to neighbors.
Why we are here
NE Preppers is a community for Northeast preppers who want to learn from each other. Once you're in, you can:
- Share prepping ideas and techniques with each other
- Ask questions about prepping and get answers from people with real experience
- Discuss current events that pertain to prepping
Why MeshCore?
MeshCore is low-power radio mesh networking for text messaging that keeps working when phones and internet don't. The more people in an area who run nodes, the stronger the network gets for everyone.
- Find other MeshCore preppers in your state and town
- Share node placement tips for hills, towns, and rural stretches
- Help grow regional coverage across the Northeast
